Job Description:

Technical leader for our ERP application (NetSuite)

  • Lead on decommissioning of local workflow (including locally developed spreadsheets and databases), and transfer to NetSuite Cloud platform.
  • Build a body of knowledge, specifically relating to the technical aspects of NetSuite, for company to be sustainable after development.
  • Stay ahead of the new NetSuite features and functionality, and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Create strategy to fulfill business needs using either standard Netsuite tools or by doing customizations.

Pragmatic translator from technical data to general user

  • Work with management and other business partners to scope work and produce deliverable estimates.
  • Self-prioritize initiatives to meet the needs of other colleagues without close supervision.
  • Create custom workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards that are easy for anyone to use.

 

Role requirement:

  • Coding or programming experience with NetSuite Cloud platform or other similar platforms (Oracle).
  • Familiar with JavaScript language.
  • Familiar with Oracle data base and good command of MS SQL language.
  • Understanding of web technologies, e.g. HTML, CSS.
  • 4-5 years of project management and related experience.
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage and complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline.
  • Detail oriented and good communication skills especially with non-technical staff.
  • Team player with impeccable accountability and responsibility.
  • Finance, process management, or manufacturing related experience and understanding is required.
  • Excellent English, both spoken and written. Spanish or Mandarin Chinese a major plus.
  • Willing to travel internationally (especially to China, US and Mexico), self-manage tasks and goals, and work on a flexible schedule depending on the time zone of colleagues.

 

Working hours: 9:00‐18:00, Monday to Friday

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico Office
